They are required to pay the hostel fees together with the tuition fees at the beginning of the new academic year. Otherwise, they will be disqualified from applying for hostel accommodation in the following academic year.

moreUnited College will organise a Reunion Luncheon for Alumni graduated for 40 years or above on 20 July 2024 (Saturday) at the Staff Canteen, Ground Floor, Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building, United College. Classes of 1984 or above are welcome to join this special occasion.
All alumni and their friends and relatives are welcome to join us. The luncheon fee is HK$250 per person. Alumni register on or before 17 June 2024 can enjoy an early bird discount of 20% ($200 per person after discount). Or alumni can also form a table of 12 people to enjoy a 20% discount on dinner fee ($2400 per table after discount). Registration deadline is 5 July 2024.

moreShum Wai Yau and Kong Fook To Belt and Road First-in-the-Family Tertiary Education Admission Scholarship aims at encouraging the United College non-local Year-one students who come from Belt and Road countries and are the first generation in the family to actively participate in various college activities on campus as well as striving for study time for better academic results. Each successful applicant will be awarded HK$20,000 and the scholarship is renewable in the normative period of study for a maximum tenure of 4 years according to good academic result and conduct.

The check-out date of regular term residence will be on 17 May 2024 (Friday) at 12:00 noon. Every resident should complete the check-out procedure and return room key at hostel counter on or before the check-out date. Only the residents who will be returning for summer residence beginning on 20 May will be permitted to check out of their hostels at 12:00 noon on 20 May 2024.
Please read the check-out notice carefully and complete the “Hostel Deposit Refund Form”. The forms can be collected from the hostel counter.
moreDuring the summer vacation of this year, United College will provide part of the hostel places for renting by external organisations (e.g. CUHK units, local schools, non-profit registered organizations and charity bodies) to organize non-profit-making activities of educational, cultural, moral and/or civic education. The opening period is from 1 June to 31 July 2024. Discount rate will be given to the external organisations that rented our hostels previously, CUHK academic and administrative units. Relevant documents should be uploaded together as instructed.
