UC Graduation Ceremony 2021-2022
The United College Graduation Ceremony 2021-2022 was held on 24 November 2022 at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Over 500 graduates and 50 guests joined the Ceremony. More than 800 parents, relatives and friends attended the Ceremony at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall or watched the live broadcast of the ceremony in Y C Liang Hall, to witness the celebratory moment of graduates. Live webcast was also arranged by the University, to facilitate graduates or parents who were unable to attend in person to share the moment online.
Thanks for the support from over 50 College guests who joined the ceremony in the procession on stage or as the audience.
Professor Martin C S Wong, Associate College Head and Dean of Students, gave a warm welcome speech at the beginning of the ceremony. Then, Mr Simon K C Lee, Vice-Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and President of the College Alumni Association, delivered a speech to encourage fresh graduates. Ms Leung Yan Tung represented all graduates to give a vote of thanks. Graduates were presented individually on stage by Professor Lee Hung Kay, Associate College Head and Dean of General Education and Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate College Head.
A meaningful Tree-planting Ceremony was held after the United College Graduation Ceremony, on the College campus outside Wu Chung Library, with the presence of Graduation Ceremony guests and representative of the College Class Society.

Photo-taking for graduates took place right after the Tree-planting Ceremony at the grand steps beside Tsang Shiu Tim Building. College guests, teaching staff and graduates participated in the photo-taking.

In addition, the College set some graduation backdrops on the campus for graduates and their parents to capture the precious moments on the day. Also, over 500 graduates received a graduation fresh fruit bag, a gift from the College for the Class of 2022. Wishing our graduates good health and every success in their future endeavors!
