Professor Faye S Y Tsang, Associate Dean of Students, and seven UC student representatives attended the High Table Dinner of the Diligentia College, CUHK(SZ) on 14 November 2024. The students also represented the College to join the 2^nd C5 Youth Summit, organised by Diligentia College. During the summit, they shared their experiences with students from Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Chongqing University, Zhejiang University, The University of Macau and The London School of Economics and Political Science. Furthermore, they visited various enterprises in Shenzhen.

As one of the key activities of the C5 Youth Summit, 14 student representatives who joined the Summit visited United College on 16 November 2024, aiming to deepen communication and exchange among students from different universities. The visiting group was warmly welcomed by Dr Tony M H Chan, College Secretary.

Student representatives enjoyed lunch at the College Student Canteen to experience Hong Kong’s dining culture. Afterwards, Ms Bao Jingke and Ms Zeng Yuetong, the College Young Fellows-to-be, led the visiting group on a tour to hostels, Wu Chung Library and Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory to gain further insight into student life at United College.

This visit offered our visitors a comprehensive understanding of the College life, facilities, and environment. They also expressed significant interest in the daily lives and the non-formal education at United College. Student representatives also shared dormitory cultures and lifestyles from their respective universities.
