Initiation Ceremony for Freshmen 2024-2025
Affected by the typhoon, the United College Initiation Ceremony for Freshmen 2024-2025, originally scheduled for 6 September, was postponed to 13 September 2024, at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. College guests and around 850 freshmen attended the ceremony.
Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, and Professor Martin C S Wong, Associate College Head and Dean of Students, delivered warm welcome speeches to the incoming class, encouraging new students to engage in College activities that can help them develop their potential and broaden their horizons. The College is committed to providing excellent learning resources for students, hoping that students would thrive and achieve their aspirations within the College community.
