United College prepared a series of activities for the CUHK freshmen on the University Orientation Day on 8 August 2024. These activities included the Introductory Talks, College Consultation Sessions, Campus Tour, and online interactive Q&A activity, aiming to provide freshmen with a comprehensive understanding of student life at United College.
Introductory Talk
On that day, the College held Introductory Talks at LT8 of the Yasumoto International Academic Park. In addition to the College Management introducing practical information about the College, four student representatives who are active in various college activities were invited to share about large-scale student-led activities, different student organisations, and student life at United College!

Campus Tour
To allow freshmen to firsthand experience of the living environment of United College, the College specially arranged campus tour, which guided new students through facilities, including Adam Schall Residence, Chan Chun Ha Hostel, Wu Chung Library, sports facilities, Si Yuan Amenities Centre, and the student canteen.
College Consultation and Online Interactive Q&A Activity
A group of energetic and enthusiastic college student ambassadors and staff diligently answered new students’ questions and introduced the College at the Yasumoto International Academic Park. The College also collected and answered questions from new students on social media, allowing those who could not attend the orientation day in person to learn more.
