25th Anniversary of Shum Choi Sang Mentorship Programme: Year of Grace Chow 2024-2025

The United College Shum Choi Sang Mentorship Programme, co-organised by the College and the College Alumni Association, celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. A total of 246 mentors and mentees participated in this year’s programme.

On 27 September 2024, the Coordinating Committee held a Mentees’ Briefing Session to provide an opportunity for mentees to meet their groupmates prior to the Inauguration Luncheon, introduce the programme requirements, and preview upcoming activities. On the same day, Ms Winnie Tam, college alumnus, was invited to conduct a Personal Branding and Networking Workshop, demonstrating to mentees how to effectively use career-related social platforms like LinkedIn to build their personal brand and network, thereby preparing for internships and job opportunities.

The United College Shum Choi Sang Mentorship Programme: Year of Grace Chow 2024-2025 held its annual Inauguration Luncheon on 5 October 2024 at the Royal Park Hotel in Shatin. Over 200 guests, mentors, and mentees attended the event. During the luncheon, commemorative gift was presented to the Year Patron, Mrs Grace Chow, and long service awards were given to mentors in appreciation of their unwavering support over the years.
