In the hope of readying UC outstanding students for a globalized world and reaching high, the College is recruiting 10-12 students to the Academy each year as ‘Young Fellows-To-Be (YFB)’. The Academy will offer you comprehensive leadership trainings, exploration opportunities and sponsorships.
The Academy features a two-day overnight training camp, ‘Senior Mentor-Mentee’ experience, corporate visit(s) in Mainland China/Hong Kong, and Global Leadership Training at the University of Oxford. Upon successful completion of this 20-month programme, you will be entitled to the ‘United College Young Fellow’. For the most outstanding United College Young Fellow of a cohort, he/she will be recognised and awarded a HKD10,000 scholarship.
The College also offers you all-round support, including a fully sponsored trip to Oxford, guaranteed places and scholarship for the GOAL Programme to Utrecht or Sydney, and an additional year of self-financed hostel accommodation on top of the original one-year guarantee.
