The 8th International Conference on Travel Writings in Chinese
The 8th International Conference on Travel Writings in Chinese, hosted by United College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Museum of Hong Kong Literature, Ming Pao Monthly, and Macao Foundation, and organised by International Association of Travel Literature in Chinese, was held from 25 to 28 April 2024. The opening ceremony was held on 25 April at Cho Yiu Conference Hall, CUHK. The theme of the conference this year was “The Literary Journey of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.” Over 60 writers, professors, and scholars from around the world gathered for the first time since the pandemic, engaging in discussions and sharing their experiences in travel literature, resulting in fruitful results. This international conference is partially sponsored by the United College Endowment Fund.
