Secondary School Students from HK and Mainland Visited UC
On 24 June 2024, over 50 teachers and students from Sichuan Guang’an Secondary School and Guangyuan Secondary School visited United College. During the visit, they explored the College facilities. The group was warmly received by Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate College Head, who introduced CUHK’s unique College system and non-formal educational activities. Colleagues from the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid also provided details about CUHK’s admissions process.
Furthermore, the Hok Yau Club arranged a career planning study tour at The Chinese University of Hong Kong for 108 students from the Our Lady of the Rosary College on 28 June 2024. The students attended a JUPAS admission talk delivered by Professor Andy K C Wong, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Later, two United College’s Young Fellows-to-be (YFB) shared about the unique College system of the CUHK and their enriching College experiences!
The students were then divided into two groups to explore the UC and S H Ho College campuses. Led by six YFBs, they visited facilities such as the Adam Schall Residence, Shum Choi Sang UC Archives, Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory, and Si Yuan Amenities Centre, to understand the history and the latest developments of UC.
