The College offers a wide range of General Education courses to students, which aims at broadening the world of knowledge other than student’s major studies. GEUC2018 “Leadership in Practice” was one of the GE courses offered by the College. It was co-organised by the College and Leadership Training Institute of the Scout Association with the support from the WEDO Leadership Development Programme, which was established with the generous donation of Ms Lina H Y Yan, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees. Unlike the traditional classes, students can equip themselves to be a great leader by joining various of outdoor adventurous activities (e.g. camping)!

The Closing Ceremony of GEUC2018 “Leadership in Practice” 2023-2024 Term 1 was held on 26 October 2023 at Si Yuan Amenities Centre. Certificates of Completion of the course were presented to students with the presence of Ms Lina H Y Yan, Professor Stephen H S Wong , College Head, Professor Lee Hung kay, Associate College Head and Dean of General Education, Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate College Head, and representatives from the Leadership Training Institute of the Scout Association, including Mr Joseph Y L Lau, Chief Commissioner, Mr Jason K L Ng, Deputy Chief Commissioner (Programme & Training), and Dr Simon S H Ho, Assistant Chief Commissioner (Adults in Scouting).
