During the immersive 3-week programme, students actively engaged in a variety of activities designed to enhance their language proficiency and cultural understanding. These activities included English language courses, cultural workshops, field trips, and social events. The English language courses, taught by experienced instructors, focused on developing students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Cultural workshops introduced different facets of English culture, covering topics such as food, music, and art. Furthermore, students explored historical and cultural landmarks, including the York Minster and the Castle Museum in York, during their field trips. To further enhance their cultural immersion, students had the unique opportunity to stay with local families, gaining firsthand insights into English daily life and traditions.
