The hostel application results with room allocation for freshmen have been announced on the College website on 29 August 2024. Please login by your CUHK email with the password to view the results. The password has been sent to you by email.
Successful applicants will receive their billing notification from the Finance Office of the University by e-mail. They are required to pay the hostel fees at the same time as the tuition fees. Those wishing to relinquish their hostel places must notify the Working Committee on Selection of Resident Students by email (hostel.uc@cuhk.edu.hk) before 6 September 2024.
The hostel places vacated by students opting to relinquish their rooms will be assigned by the College to students on the waiting list. Unsuccessful applicants may lodge appeals to the Working Committee on Selection of Resident Students via the College online form https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13693798 before 10:00 am of 6 September 2024 if they have special reasons not previously mentioned in their applications. Relevant documents should be uploaded together as instructed. Results of appeals and second-round allocation will be announced on the College website on 20 September 2024.
Student residents (local freshmen) are advised to check-in at their respective hostels between 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, 1 September 2024. For details and documents required upon check-in, please refer “Guidelines for Registration at UC Student Hostels (2024-2025)”.
