Donations to the College are tax deductible in both the U.S. and Canada. Please refer to below:

For friends from the U.S.

Friends from the U.S. may make their gifts through The Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation, Inc.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation, Inc. is established and qualified under IRC Section 501 (c)(3) of Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt organisation in the U.S. (Federal Tax I.D. Number: 98-0477422). All donations from the U.S. can be made to the Foundation and are tax deductible in the U.S. with official donation receipts issued by the Foundation. For friends from Canada

Friends from Canada may make their gifts through The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

As a token of our gratitude to the donors, the College publishes the names of donors from time to time on various publications of the College, including their names, majors, and years of graduation (applicable to United College alumni), or names of the organisations, preferably in Chinese.

In addition, the College has established the “Patron Membership” to thank donors for their support. Please see here for details.
