College alumnus, Professor Patrick S H Yung (94/MEDU) of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and his team were awarded three Gold Medals at the 49th International Exhibition of Invention Geneva for their projects “Regenerative Enhancers (Mag Med Biotech)”, “Ultrasound-Based Navigation System for Minimally Invasive Fracture Reduction” and , “Automated Patient-Specific Prosthesis Design System for Bone Defects”; “Injectable FABP4i@Hydrogel for Treating Degenerative Tendon/Ligament Injuries” was also awarded with a Silver Medal.
