【UC Staff Association】Farewell Lunch 2024

On 24 July 2024, United College Staff Association hosted a heartfelt Farewell Lunch to honour some of our cherished colleagues who were retiring this year. It was a bittersweet occasion as we gathered to celebrate the contribution of seven college members and two colleagues of Dean of Students’ Office who have worked for the College for many years.

Our retirees included:

  • Professor LAU Hang Yung Alaster, School of Biomedical Sciences
  • Professor LEE Yuet Sheung Kathy, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery
  • Professor LIU Zhifeng, Department of Chemistry
  • Professor WONG Man Hon, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
  • Ms YEUNG Chung Yin Amy, Dean of Students’ Office of United College

We were pleased to have Professor Alaster H Y Lau and Professor Paul K S Chan join us at the luncheon. At the lunch, Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, and Professor Peter C K Cheung, Chairperson of United College Staff Association, presented souvenirs and flower bouquets to Professor Lau and Professor Chan, expressing our gratitude for their years of dedication and service.  They also shared their beautiful memories of working together over the years at the University and the College. We wish them all the best as they embark on this new chapter of their lives, filled with good health and happiness.
