About GEUC4011- Senior Seminar:

When should I start preparing for my Final Year Project (GEUC4011-Senior Seminar)?

For 4-Year Curriculum, an invitation email will be sent to you at the second term of your 3rd year of studies (January). You will also form your group, set up your topic and know your supervisor in February. Please pay attention to our email and announcement on College’s social media (e.g. Instagram).

GEUC4011 will only be held at the first term. You are going to reserve 3 units for the course at T1 of your expected graduating year, and you will be pre-assigned on CUSIS.

If your major has internship/ placement requirement at your final year (e.g. Faculty of Medicine/ Faculty of Education), please check your study plan and plan to take GEUC4011 on time.

If you encounter difficulties in taking GEUC4011 in Term 1 of Year forth of study, please contact College General Education Team.

If you have indicated your interest in GEUC4012, you don’t need to join the GEUC4011’s groups. Please contact us to reconfirm your seat of GEUC4012 if you have doubts.

How can I form groups to GEUC4011? Any group requirements?

There is an Online Group Registration Platform for GEUC4011, students can form their group in maximum 4 people, and input the information of your groupmates on the platform. Each group of students should at least come from 2 different faculties and 4 different majors.

If you haven’t formed your own group by the deadline, please also register on the grouping platform.  The College will assign a group for you randomly.

Why I can’t login to the GEUC4011 Online Group Registration Platform?

If you are not using the CUHK network, you have to connect the CUHK VPN before logging in the platform.

For more details about the VPN settings, please read the ITSC guidelines (http://www.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/all-it/wifi-and-network/cuhk-vpn).
