College member, Professor Chen Ye of the Department of Chemistry, has received Young Scientists Fund 2023 from the National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC), receiving a grant of RMB300,000 in support of her research project “Synthesis of metalloid-doped in noble metal nanomaterials and their electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution properties”.

The NSFC’s Young Scientists Fund aims to foster the development of young scientists by supporting young scholars to carry out basic research in areas of their choice, enhancing their ability to conduct innovative projects independently. This fund started accepting applications from Hong Kong researchers in 2022.
