Language Improvement Project – Culture and Chinese Language (Mandarin) Programme by United College, CUHK at Taiwan Chengchi University (Application opens on 24 February 2025)

This Chinese Language and Culture Programme is offered under the 2025 UC Summer GOAL Programme and funded by the Language Improvement Project. Our partnering university is Taiwan Chengchi University. Under this programme, the College will select 12 students to attend a 14-day language-and-culture-rich programme in summer. The programme aims to deepen students’ understanding of the history and culture of new immigrants in Taiwan. This will enhance students’ comprehension of social structures, immigration issues, and multicultural coexistence and their Chinese language (Mandarin) proficiencies.
