College member, Professor Lu Yichun of Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, was conferred with “THE XPLORER PRIZE 2021”. She will be received RMB 3 millions for supporting her energy conservation researches over next five years. She is one of the eight female awardees. Our warmest congratulation to Professor Lu!

The XPLORER PRIZE was launched by Tencent Foundation in 2018. It is a non-governmental, merit-based public-interest award which aims to support Chinese young scientists and technicians, who aged 45 or below, working full-time in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong or Macao, and specialised in areas of fundamental science and frontier technologies.
